Additional Notes for Parents/Students
-Welcome back! This first week we will be focusing on chair placement auditions for Wind Ensemble. Students will have a short audition with me (Mr. Floyd) on Friday 1/12 to determine their chair placement for the ensemble. I will also be available on Monday for non-drumline students that would like to audition early. Students already received their audition requirements over break on slack, but there will also be printouts in the band room on Monday.
-Pep Band is meeting for the first time on Wednesday briefly to prep for Wednesday night’s Boys Varsity Basketball Game. This is a voluntary group and we only have three games we’ll attend on Jan 10, Jan 17, and Jan 30. These basketball games are a blast to play at!
-Drumline is starting back up this week with a normal schedule.
-The only full Wind Ensemble rehearsal is this Wednesday. Monday and Friday during 6th period will be the placement exams and students can leave once they have had their audition.
