4th of July Parade and more!

Happy Summer Solstice! We welcome the warm summer weather and sunshine! Protect your skin out there, because UV levels have been crazy high.

 

New way to raise funds! Subscribe for just a few dollars per week or per month! If every family shares this option and brings in a few people who subscribe to donate regularly, this will be an easy way to bring in money for our programs! Coming up this week, Marching Band and Color Guard will be starting their 4th of July Parade!

We are preparing for our Marching Season and we need about 10 families with a washer/dryer to launder our white Marching Band Uniforms. Uniform and instruction pick up will be on 6/26 and drop off will be on 7/5.

Looking Back-

  • Post all of your award photos, grad photos, OMG friend fun photos on our share site! And download photos and videos of your kids! Click Here.

Looking ahead-

  • We’re getting ready for Fall! How will you help make our program better this year? Many hands make light work. Each of you can make a difference and we value all of the time, supplies, and money you give to help our programs. The impact you make on your child when you volunteer will forever impact your relationship in a positive way. And the impact you make on our programs when you volunteer is immeasurable.

  • Do you like being in charge? Are you good at planning large events? We know some of you are!! We are still looking for Tournament Chairpersons for Band Champs in the fall and Color Guard Tournaments in the Spring. Don’t worry, you’ll have a whole team of people to help you! We really need someone who is organized, that likes project management, to keep things on track. We know you’re out there!

We changed our Saver's FunDrive drop of date to be in August and we're looking to accumulate a bunch of stuff to do a major donation and get lots of money for our program! So we still want your stuff!! And we will be collecting throughout the summer.

  • We are accepting... 

  • Soft Items (clothing, linens, shoes) Please place in kitchen trash bags

  • Hard Items (toys, household items, sporting equipment) Please place in cardboard boxes

  • Books and Media (books, magazines, dvds, cds) Please place in cardboard boxes

  • Keep an eye out for drop off dates

APA Orchestra Summer Updates

 

APA Orchestra Schedule-

 

  • Keep an eye out for updates with the end-of-year survey, possible leadership roles for the beginning of the school year, and plans for our first day back with the orchestra!

- Keep practicing! Placement Auditions will come up quickly, so if you’ve got your eye on the musical (Les Mis in the fall), keep those chops up!
